Between Questions

Between Questions

Some conversations happen with other people; the important ones happen with yourself.

Here’s one …

Do we ever truly know what we want? Or perhaps, more importantly, what we don’t want?

Does realization arrive when it should, or only after it’s too late? Is that where regret comes from? But then, that brings me back to the first question—did we never really know what we wanted, or did we only understand it later?

Are we meant to let go of certain things? If so, what do we let go of—and how much? Or are we meant to hold on? If that’s the case, then what is worth holding on to, and for how long?

Is it wrong to wait for the old to unfold into something better, or is it wiser to accept the new in its raw, unfinished form? Does acceptance change anything, or does it simply change the way we meet it?

Do we really know what to choose? Does that choice stay the same, or does it change with time? If it changes, what changes it? And if it doesn’t, what keeps it the same?

When the mind and the heart pull us in different directions, which one do we follow? Is it right to choose one over the other? Or should we try to bring them into alignment? And if we do, how? What if they simply refuse?

Are we really who we believe we are, or have we become the person the world has defined us to be? Are we true to ourselves before we’re true to the world, or are we lying all the way through? If so, what is the lie? And if not, what is our truth?

Are we still searching for ourselves, or have we already found who we are? If we have, what exactly did we find? And if we haven’t, how far does the search go? Is every step revealing something new, or is the mystery still far from unfolding?

Is love in the picture? Love for ourselves. Love for the people around us. Love for existence—and perhaps, something beyond it. Has love shaped who we are, or have we yet to truly experience it? If we haven’t, do we long for it, or can life be complete without it?

From what lens do we see life? If we are surrounded by the white, do we seek to understand the black as well, knowing that both together create the whole picture? Or is the white enough?

Does it all come together with time, or has the connection always been there? What did we miss and what piece did we found that made it all visible? Were things always in sync or rather not? Has anyone completed this puzzle?

Is there even a single answer? Or do the answers evolve with time, people, circumstances, experience, wisdom, and life itself!?

Will we ever truly know..?
