A Distinct Angle

A Distinct Angle

Sometimes it takes the curviest route or the most undesirable path to reach the destination. Not always the life you desire comes the way you imagined it.

The picturesque movie ‘Highway’ is all about that. Veera was the young girl who desired to be a free bird, but she was caged in her own home. It took her to get abducted to experience freedom. Initially, she attempted to escape but ended up in a loop so aversely returned. Following her return, she started viewing the kidnapping scenario in a new light; she appreciated the beauty of the roads, found serenity in the uncertainty, profoundly lived on the highway, and fell in the magic called love. She found the freedom that she was seeking all her life in that challenging situation.

Isn’t it about shifting your perspective on the situation? When you can’t change the context, you attempt to change your point of view on the same. It all relies on your attitude; it is, after all, subjective. It truly is in your hands, or should I say in your head, whether you choose to weep over it or find a way to be content with it. You have the power to change any given circumstance in your favour if you want to.

Who knows, maybe you’ll find something to treasure for a lifetime, just like Veera found Mahabir’s love and reminiscences along with the scenic mountains! Allow life to take its course and trust your journey; it will lead you to your destination.
