Never Say Never

Never Say Never

“Never say Never

It might become your forever”

It is a chilling but an enthusing two-liner! The possibility of something coming true that seems so improbable is an inexplicable emotion.

But then whenever we accept something as it will never happen, life takes it as a challenge. Having a strong opinion against anything is like provoking life. And as we are all aware, life is erratic and the wonders it can do is beyond the mind’s reach. Saying yes to life is the point here! Whatever it might be; don’t have a decided opinion towards it because it takes no time for life to make us go against our own beliefs. Just follow along; don’t think a lot – life is not about thinking, it’s about living!

This reminds me of the book, “An Astronaut’s Guide to Life” by Chris Hadfield where the author described his journey of becoming an astronaut from Canada which at that time did not even have a space research organization. The only option for Canadians was to apply to NASA but America would not easily hire them so basically dreaming of becoming an astronaut was unfeasible. Despite being aware of this fact, he continued to hold onto his dream of becoming an astronaut anyhow. Ultimately, a way came out and his dream became a reality, which is all the book is about.

That’s how life works! The only catch is not to be sure about anything; if you like something relish it and if you don’t let it be, time has the ability to turn things around. Don’t be firm on something and make up your mind that it will never happen for so and so reasons as the power that sustains us does know how to make it happen. Let me tell you something, life cherishes it when you keep an open mind about it!

We dream about something; we work through it but at last we accept the fact that it will not happen and move on. We give up easily. My say is, Wait! You have done the act of sowing, now give it some time to reap. When you haven’t seen the entire picture, don’t assume the ending. Why are you determining everything when truly nothing is in your hands?

That job, that career, that passion, that place, that person, that dream might just arrive at your doorstep for which you have already closed the door. Go open it, you don’t want them to go without meeting you, do you?!
