Is waiting synonymous to living
That is how, life is spent these days
So it gets me wondering
From childhood we wait to become old
But kids have all the fun, we are told
We wait to be a graduate
just to realize about the subject
we are not passionate
We hang tight to land up in a better job
That too just to sob
Next in line is the eminent wait of a life partner
they say, choosing the right one can make your future brighter
Then it comes to settling down
Waiting for a house to be built in the most vibrant town
Oh, in all these we forget about our passion
Well for that, we can await retirement in action
Likewise, life passes by
in a blink of an eye
In its’ every phase, we waited and waited and waited
time fled by yet that was quite negated
which is why
it solemnly gets me wondering
Is waiting synonymous to living
