Accept it! Either with a Smile or a Laugh!

Have you ever tried laughing on your bloopers? Or grinning on your mistakes? If not, give it a shot! The burden in your heart will instantly get lighter; just as shifting a knapsack full of salt to grass. When we accept our faults graciously, it doesn’t feel like a gigantic anymore and when we laugh on our blunders it gets easier to live with them.

A while ago, I was trying a homemade muffins recipe. Everything went well until I noticed that the muffins did not rise properly when they were getting baked in the oven. By the time I took them out, they were formed in a very weird shape. Typically, I should have been disheartened as they did not turn out the way it was supposed to be but instead I bursted into laughing and so did my family who beheld it. In truth, the muffins tasted delicious, so we ended up finishing them but every time we ate, we laughed looking at its’ amusing form. About this episode, anyone would think that it was a flop show but actually it turned out to be one of most memorable days in my life; till today I think about it and laugh. To be honest, I did not even feel like I made a blunder because I was able to take it jokily and laugh on it. This is only a trivial instance, but only the smaller things lead to the bigger ones; right?

It is vital to understand that not everything can always go right in life. There would be times when you are wrong and that’s when someone might point at you or make fun of you; at that time don’t take it on mind, in fact accept it, smile on it and laugh it out by saying “Oh I know! I was being stupid LOL my bad” it can be this simple. It will only lighter the load and bring you peace.

I like to say, “laugh on your mistakes before they laugh on you.” Let not your faults get you stuck in life for life is too little for that. If I would have taken that muffins incident seriously, I would have never been able to try it again with a mere fear of failure.

Remind yourself to take everything light & easy. Whatever happened was somewhere always meant to be. You are only a human; let yourself be one!
